Sophie was like a breath of fresh air when she first joined the UDB team as a volunteer in early 2009. She immediately grasped and embodied the ethos of UDB: her kindness and generosity were particularly evident as was her obvious creativity. She quickly became a huge asset to the team. In September 2010 Sophie became part of the UDB staff team, working in primary and secondary schools on mentoring projects designed to encourage healthy self esteem and helping to deliver Kidsclub, Kidsclub Small Groups and Junior Leaders.

Sophie got married to UDB's very own Liam on July 2nd 2011 and is excited to be a new member of the Perry Common community.
